Impulses from the OT

A wellknown Rabbi who has come to believe in JESHUA explains the connection between the OT and the NT as a huge puzzle: “The Jews have 70 % of the parts, but the church has the main part. We cannot complete the puzzle without the church, and the church can never complete the puzzle without Israel.”

(quoted in Israel Today, 2014, 12.22)

“The spiritual condition of the pagan world at the time of the New Testament could be compared to a field left to its natural wildness without ever having been cultivated … The Jews, on the other hand, were like a field cultivated for centuries”.

(Derek Prince, in: ” The Future of Israel and the Church”, Solingen 1992)

“Christianity cannot be credible if it denies its spiritual roots, which lie in the people of Israel … What shrinks to formality dies when it is no longer fed by the sources of ancient wisdom”.

(Chaim Noll, religious Jew from Israel)
